Deposits are not refundable if appointment is not cancelled or rescheduled 72 hours before appointment. .

All surgeries are by appointment only, drop-off and pick up times are as follows:

Kara Cavanaugh started with JCHS in the Summer of 2014. Kara attended school at the former Western School of Health and Business, now currently known as Sanford Brown. She graduated in 2007 and started working for a large 24 hour emergency clinic in Pittsburgh, PA. After a few years in Pittsburgh, she took her work a bit closer to home to the Wheeling area.

Shelter medicine has always been a calling and when the opportunity arose to help shape and mold a medical program for the animals of Jefferson County, she jumped on the chance!

In her personal life she is a single mom to her 4 year old daughter and also to her 2 year old Shepherd/ Lab mix!
